Frame awards

Frame magazine is the world’s leading interior design publication. Every year they host their Frame Awards, honouring the world’s best interiors. Since sustainability is an increasingly important topic within interior design they needed an award design that would reflect that.

DESIGN PROCESS

Sustainable design

Our team redesigned the awards to be fully recyclable and made from recycled plastic. Every award is now made from 72 recycled PET-bottles. In 2019 the awards were 3D-printed in two PET bottles colors, blue and green, to represent the public and jury categories.

2020 Awards

For the 2020 award show a different approach was chosen to make the award stand out and fit the new brand style guide. With a dip-dying technique the transparent award got a color infusion, resulting in a striking gradient effect. This effect was developed in collaboration with Marie Holm.
