WHAT WE DO:

sustainable design

We design and engineer products for a better future

Design for recycling

Based on the analysis we can redesign plastic products and packaging to achieve a better recycling score. We create a clear path forward for sustainable design improvements that we implement together with your supply chain and design department.

Hands on approach

We believe in a practical approach and start prototyping and experimenting in an early stage of the project, going through many iterative cycles to get to the best result.

It's only waste
if you waste it

will.I.Am

Re-engineering products

We help you make your existing products and packaging future proof without losing track of the heritage of the brand. Based on a predefined set of criteria we get to work. We will look into reducing the amount of plastic, moving away from virgin plastics, reuse and refill models and the recyclability of packaging and products. A key driver for success is a holistic approach integrating secondary packaging, logistics and finding solutions for post consumer waste sources.

waste to product

The starting point of a project can also be a waste source. Where we take on the challenge of transforming this into a valuable and iconic product. Iconic products made from your companies waste are a great conversation starter and inspirational tool. How about turning your waste into new furniture of your new meeting room?

the After life effect

No this is not a science fiction hollywood production, according to scientific research (Moller, Ryan, and Deci 2006) if people are more explicitly shown what the products they are being asked to recycle will become, they will recycle more. We thoroughly believe in this theory. Want to know more about the after life effect?

  1. We are seeing a growing trend away from negative interventions (Moller, Ryan, and Deci 2006) with new research showing that positive, inspirational nudges can be more effective in motivating behavior change!
  2. The Afterlife Effect states that if people are more explicitly shown what the products they are being asked to recycle will become, they will recycle more.
  3. It's driven by a mix of inspiration, a short story being told and a sense of closure from feedback as to what will happen if they choose to recycle.
  4. Producers should invest more time in closing this narrative loop to create the aha moment that compels people to recycle.
  5. The Afterlife Effect can be used to drive new circular economy partnerships and even rewards for the most environmentally-conscious consumers.
